How to Measure Your Cap Size
Getting the right cap size is an important part of ensuring your wig fits comfortably and looks natural. Measuring at home is simple and only takes a few minutes. If you’re unsure at any point, don’t worry — we’ll always confirm sizing during your consultation.
What You'll Need
A flexible measuring tape
A mirror
Your natural head
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Start at the front hairline: Place the measuring tape at the center of your forehead, right where your hairline naturally begins.
- Wrap around the sides: Bring the tape around one side of your head, passing just above your ear.
- Go around the back: Continue wrapping the tape around the back of your head at the widest point (the occipital bone).
- Return to the starting point: Bring the tape around the other side of your head, just above the other ear, and back to the starting point at your forehead.
- Record the measurement: Make sure the tape is snug but not tight. Write down the measurement in inches.
